It is made from grapes grown in Ecueil, Villers-Allerand and Bouzy and is a blend of 78% Pinot Noir, 16% Chardonnay and 6% Meunier with 40% reserve wines.
It was lean with citrus fruit but had enough autolysis, biscuity aromas that didn’t make it tart, like some grower Champagnes. There was a good balance and sense of ease to this Champagne.
